what are your thoughts on the royal family?

there's been a few accusations abt the royal family

I'm not anti monarchy nor am I a monarchist. I just dont really care that much about them. They just kinda exist in the background for me.

A lot of them are true. Some are scandalous and defamatory, as expected.

It seems like having a monarchy is a really antiquated idea. The coronation seemed a flamboyant spend of public money when it could’ve been financed by the monarchy.

Don't mind the family (most of them anyway) but don't see the need to have them. I would say I'm a republican (not in the American sense) because I just cant see any reason for a modern day country to operate under unelected leaders.
