A* grade Maths achieved, would I only need AA in French and Further Maths?

For Law Tripos, if I achieve an A* grade in Year 12 in A-Level Maths, then would I only need AA grades in A-Level French and A-Level Further Maths? :s-smilie:

I am also doing German (because my grandfather gave me a German name and my surname is also German but I am born in London, England, UK). LOL

As well as French, Spanish and Further Maths. I know I will get A*'s in Maths, Further Maths, German and possibly if my 300 word essays on film/novel go well in Spanish or French.

So I would need A*AA or more in Further Maths, German, French and Spanish? :s-smilie:

I should really achieve A*A*A*AA and apply with my grades achieved. This will mean I will be a stronger applicant?

if the law tripos standard offer is A*AA, then yes - you'll probably have to pass a fourth A-level as well. going off your post, i'm guessing you do 5 A-levels. and no, a gap year does not make you a stronger candidate. oxbridge has a particular reputation for not preferring gap year students as they are considered out of touch with their subjects due to the extra year off. however, this could be only for quantitative subjects. not sure about law, sorry!
