Is biology a biological science?

So I was looking at potentially doing a Masters at Oxford after my biology degree and the requirements ask for a degree in biological science. Would a biology degree be accepted?

By definition it is.

Biological science typically include chemistry as well, but it should be fine for your application though.
Biological sciences in the general sense can include: biological sciences (Natural sciences focusing on biology and chemistry), biochemistry, biomedicine, biology, and the like.

Having said the above, it's always prudent to ask the postgrad administrator of the biological department to check whether you're eligible.
