They are quite slow at quite a bit of stuff compared to my friends unis, just keep eyes out for emails, I’m first gen uni student too. (that’s what you meant by gen uni student, right?)

omgg same im dying idk what im doing and their websites and things are so hard to use, idk how to use anything and the timetable is stressing me out like crazy. btw whats your course

this website for the timetable! and scroll down to the orange button and log in
it helps if you do the calendar download as it's easier to see

there is freshers week, so if you look at events on the freshers week rhul website https://www.su.rhul.ac.uk/freshers/2023/events/ there's a lot of events you can go to like the petting zoo and such. there's a lot of societies that hold taster sessions during the week https://www.su.rhul.ac.uk/asset/Event/6001/Societies-Taster23_Web.pdf and here are the sports societies https://www.su.rhul.ac.uk/asset/Event/6001/Sports-Taster23_Web.pdf if you're interested. let me know if you have any other questions!!! (i'm first year but i did foundation year last year)
