Why are men so protective
So I am in a wonderful relationship and I've noticed that I have been more overly protective of her but normal I am not, I have told her this and she finds it cute but what I want to know is "why do men become very protective over women?"

They are probably just afraid of losing the one I love.
It's natural for men to protect their loved ones, likely stemming from the hunter-gatherer days where men protected and provided for their women and children.
