the ratio of boys to girls students is 4 : 5. The ratio of boys who chose Russian to boys who chose Arabic at GCSE is 3 : 5.
Write the fraction of students who are boys that chose Russian at GCSE out of all students in Year 11.

4/9 of the students are boys. 3/8 of the boys chose Russian. 4/9 x 3/8 = 1/6
