Some might not be doing anything but just accept that they don't tend to get admired by the opposite sex or are just not dateable.
Others might use fashion, I've seen that before that they deck themselves out in fashion brands to help get themselves accepted. However, anyone may do that also but I think you can kind of notice those thate into it and those just wearing that stuff but aren't really into it. Those who aren't really into it kind of looks a bit try hard and sad as in they just bought it as a quick fix.
You don't notice us because we blend into the background.
