At what point in the year, are job vacancies most available? (For retail)

Will there be some at the start of summer like July?

Yea June/Julyish are when most jobs are avaliable I applied for a ton of jobs last year at this time tho and only ended up with 3 responses and eventually got a job

There may be vacancies in July, but I'd say the biggest wave of new opportunities in summer often occurs at the end of August and all through September as employees who worked whilst studying for A levels etc leave to go to uni, apprenticeships and FT work.

This. Plus the fact that not long after- from October onwards they start advertising for Xmas temp jobs as well (which may only be temporary but there's a chance of being kept on if you are really good. Plus its experience which is helpful for applying for another.
