dual nationality

I'm a bit confused here. I was born in the UK to British nationals of pakistani heritage and hold a British passport and a pakistani identity card but not a pakistani passport. Am I classified as a dual national or a British national?

There's information on Pakistan's nationality law that might be relevant at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistani_nationality_law#Acquisition_and_loss_of_citizenship

Intuitively it seems likely that if you have a Pakistan identity card then you hold citizenship.
