Hi! I guess the poker games/bowling would be a good example with Stanley and his friends. Stanley and Mitch are a great example of brotherhood - Stanley tells Mitch about Blanche's past as part of this. Stanley and his friends appear almost as like a pack of animals with Stan as the leader. Similarly, there is the background of gambling/drinking that Hindley and Heathcliff are involved in perhaps. Fraternity doesn't always mean just men but in both novels the women are either isolated or have one female companion.
