Clearing query

Having read all those articles and predictions of A-level results sinking to pre-pandemic levels, is there a chance more universities will show up for clearing? Even for courses that weren't previously available for clearing?

Hiya, that's a good question. It's not something we know for sure. There are changes every year though.

What course would you be looking and what kind of grades are we talking about?

Hi @Jellyeat2,

It is possible that additional courses may become available in clearing. This could happen if someone they had originally offered a place to doesn't achieve the grades required, the university then may be able to reopen that course and offer that space to someone else. Therefore, I would certainly encourage you to call universities directly to enquire what they have available and also check their websites. Universities usually list all the courses which are open on there and their course lists may be updated on Thursday.

I hope this helps and good luck on Thursday!
