Changing test date

My instructor wants to charge my test date by extending it 2 months because he says I’m not ready

I think I am and I’d like to do the test anyway, if I fail it’s good experience, but my driving instructor is now saying I can do the original test date but not with his car otherwise it affects his reputation and he can get in trouble with DVSA

I don’t have a car so I don’t have any choice.

Had e anyone use had this problem ?

if he doesn't want to give you his car then im 99% sure you're not ready for your test at all. Don't do it. I know this because i had a similar experience, I thought i was ready while my instructor disagreed, turns out i did my test when my instructor thought it was ideal and passed first time.

some instructers can be a bit dodgy and want to keep taking your money but thats the extreme minority. Try do a single mock test with a different instructor, see what they say
