Hey!
This will depend on the university you want to apply to, so would recommend you take a look first. Most don't require it at GCSE (as a lot of schools don't offer it as a GCSE option) but may require it for A-level. Some unis (like Kent) also don't require it for A-level, so it's worth having a general idea of where you may want to apply beforehand.
