Spooky scary skeletons
Hey friends and family
Basically my problem is im concerned about leaving my school of 6 years and going off to uni. Im going into year 13 and so far my sixth form experience has been so lovely i genuinely dont want to move on because my school holds so many memories and idk im a nostalgic person i guess but the thought of uni terrifies me
No one ik will be there with me. It also takes a long time for me to make an impression on people since apparently im “scary” idk what that means but im afraid ill be unapproachable and wont be able to socialise. Im an outgoing person generally but the thought of being somewhere where i dont know anyone and idk where im going terrifies me very slightly
Pls can someone lmk if its not as big of a deal as i make it seem
Its just uni feels so grown up to me and i dont feel like ill fit in with the whole atmosphere

If it helps im applying to ucl and lse but city is also one of my options incase the other two dont work out
Ignore any comments that have been made in the past and look at no-one knowing you as an opportunity to make new friends. You'd been in the same situation whether you start uni or a job, and there will always be other people in the sameboat as you. I and a lot of my classmates went to uni, but all independently, and I've never met anyone who want to the same uni as people they already knew.
