Hi! im applying for law in the uk and im looking for relatively quick but interesting reads that I can discuss in my personal statement. If anyone has any recommendations that would be great. Im also looking for a book about ambiguity in the context of law.

More useful will be an awareness of current Law issues / discussions in the UK - listen to some of these podcasts from the BBC's 'Law in Action' : https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006tgy1/episodes/player

You might also find some of these Moocs (short - free - online courses) useful as well :

also Dworkin's Taking Rights Seriously

it's all about ambiguity of law and theory of interpretation and coming up with the 'right' answer. but idk what you have access to or how much knowledge you have on legal theory so i don't want to confuse you with links when there's a plethora of info out there.

if you can make sense of Dworkin tho, that would be a gem. do not use Letters to a Law Student or The Secret Barrister if you see any suggestions of things.
