Top 5 University Essentials
Hi guys!
With the new academic year looming, it's a great time to start thinking about moving away or moving back to university!
In order to give some help to any first year students who are about to move away for the first time, what are your top 5 university essentials you cannot live without?
Mine would be: a mattress topper, pictures/posters (don't forget the command strips!), clothes airer, stationary, and a kitchen set (IKEA are good for this!)

Those are some really good recommendations Estelle, definitely support the clothes airer one! Mine would be
- an extension cord
- a steamer/iron for clothes
- a vaporizer for that inevitable freshers flu
- clothes hangers cause you can never have enough
- headphones because halls can be noisy!

1. Laundry hamper & pods/detergent
2. First aid kit (paracetamol, plasters, Berocca - especially if you're going to be drinking
)
3. Push pins (most uni halls have a board you can pin things on like photos/fairy lights)
4. Sleep mask/earplugs
