Biomed to dentistry transfer

I definitely cannot apply for dentistry this year so I was thinking about applying for biomed then trying to transfer over to a dental course (ino some unis do and dont allow this). Does anyone have an opinion on whether it is worth it or how it would work. Thanks

Why not just take a gap year instead? Most logical option

Without a doubt gap year would be more beneficial, with transfer schemes they are very very competitive and I believe only select unis have the options, and also your gonna spend extra money on the years you do biomed. So take a gap year
