What do people with a 9-5 do in the weekend?

I'm a uni student on a one year placement (9-5, mon-fri) and the biggest difference I've noticed from uni is there is nothing for me to do in the weekend. In uni I'd usually study in the weekend then go out in the evenings with my friends for dinner or drinks (or even stay inside and hang out with my flatmates). Something social and not sat on my phone all day. Now I'm working, I just spend my weekend occasionally working on my hobbies, going to the gym or scrolling through Tik Tok in my room. It's making my weekends extremely boring. What do people with a 9-5 do in the weekends?

The best thing in the world, absolutely nothing. Trust me, I left my job of near 3 years last month as I went to do my Masters course (BSc in Biomedical Science and my MSc in the same subject) and can confirm the best thing to do is to sleep and take a break.

Annual leave is for when you want to go out and have fun because when you finish work, you have to go home, cook, clean from cooking, clean the house it’s all great fun…
