Good luck! Template shamelessly stolen from @Ionomer
my GCSEs are 99888877 and a L2M but we don't talk about that. My dream uni is bristol, and the 3 other unis i'm considering applying to are kcl, leeds and sheffield probably.
Re 5th choices on ucas applications, a lot of uni's encourage a 5th choice but do people actually put down a 5th?
Hello, im Y13, applied for dent this year. Yes, i absolutely put a 5th down because there is no harm in doing so whatsoever unless you would have to interview for it (e.g. pharmacy at some unis requires an interview).
Does anybody know where we can get the stats for the number of intakes from graduate entries? Do we just email the admissions team?
hey current applicant, what you should do is go to google and type in the unis name and course and write statistics or whatever data you are trying to find and then type "whatdotheyknow" this is a useful website which basically allows people to make requests and receive data from unis, more than likely data that you are trying to find is already public
Hi there,I'm a graduate in Biological Sciences with a 2:1 and looking to apply to dentistry. I got AAB in A-levels (Maths, Chem, Bio) with a 7 in maths and 5 in english language? Which universities should I apply to? What UCAT score would I need for these?
ooh i mean most places require a 2:1 if you do a biology/science degree, hence in your situation i think ur main thing is the ucat which will dictate most place you can go to
Hi everyone Just did my UCAT and got 2760 B2, is this a decent-ish score? I’m very happy with it personally as it’s the best I’ve ever done and I really struggled lol but just want to see if it’s a good score for dent (i’m undergrad entry)
I got 2790 and band 3 in the UCATAt GCSES I got 99999999888I am currently predicted 666 in my highers (but that will probably be higher when I get back to school)And I really want to dentistry but I know with my UCAT score this may not be possible, are there any univerisites that offer dentistry that I could apply to where I would have a good chance of an interview or should I just stick with medicine, and if so would unis like nottingham, leicester and birmingham take me for medicine?
People who have scored in the 27- - range in ucat, that’s a competitive score. Some will score higher yes but others with far lower ucat will also be successful.
If I take alevel biology chemistry and psychology for alevels. Will unis like birmingham uni prefer applicants which take alevel bio, chem and physics/ maths for their alevels over psychology? or even for medicine as I am not sure if i want to be a dentist or doctor yet.
UCAT 2960 Band 2 Combined Science 9-9 Maths 9 Geography 9 English Language 7 RE 7 German 7 Music 6 English Literature 6 Predicted A Levels A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

My ucat last year was 2650 and got an offer for interview. So I think it’s a good score and make sure you have strong personal statement
hi, im going into yr13 thinking of applying for dent or medicine, would i be offered an interview with A star AA, 1 week work experience in radiology, 1 week work experience in psychiatry, and a certificate in phlebotomy. Is it a risk applying if i dont have any dentistry work experience
