nope just waiting, they are supposed to interview people mid december so we should hear from them soon hopefuly.

Belfast, KCL, Leeds hbu?

Ah we have KCL in common - is that GED or standard? KCL GED, Aberdeen and Dundee.

I did standard entry as it is less competitive for grads, they have only sent me an from KCLemail so far saying they have too many applications and they will respond as soon as they can

Yeah tbf I heard that KCL have a very good rate of admission for grads onto their standard BDS programme. Just wanted to take my chances 😭. I can imagine tbf cause they’re super competitive!

I mean from freedom of information act i gathered that you can get into kcl with any ucat score really, they don’t have cut offs, but i think interview process is more competitive as there are less spaces available, as long as you are confident in interviews you should be fine

Yeah I really do think that KCL take a holistic approach for pre-interview screening because I’ve also seen some of the FOI request forms which indicate that candidates have been admitted with UCAT scores in the 2300s. So yeah interview process defo more competitive. Just need to get over the interview hurdle

yh i guess as long as you are confident rest shouldn’t matter, by the way do you know for uclan prior learning verification form, did you just write down the module name and number for each of the learning outcomes or did you answer the questions themselves?

I wrote the module name only i think is for them to look at the modules you completed at your uni and cover the learning objectives of the topics they asked.

Yeah I started from the GDC principles and did a few scenario preps. How about you?

Yh i did similar to you got an interview book which has scenarios and watched some youtube videos, learnt some of the basic dental procedures. i have applied for belfast, Uclan, Kcl and Leeds, so far belfast and Uclan have asked for my university transcript but the other two are really quiet, how about you?

I applied to dundee, liverpool, uclan and kings 4y. I applied to belfast a few years ago and they asked me about the university transcript too.

Honestly I'm so nervous at this point. I've applied to uclan and KCL for grad, but I feel like my UCAT score is low for KCL. I'm really hoping on UCLAN though. This process is so scary. I'm not sure if our scores have been delivered yet. I'm hoping on the grad offers, because I have been rejected previously, and I keep getting worried about how old I will be when i graduate. 😅 hopefully we all get in!
