Hi ALL
My son got his A level grades 2A* in chemistry and Maths and 1A being in Biology. He did not get interview last year because of his low UCAT of 2490. I have seen somewhere on the web something with effect that QUB does not consider application from re-applicants who already applied to study dentistry but did not apply them first time. Is that the case please ?

Hi! I was wondering is it worth taking the risk and applying to belfast with total point of 36 when last years cut off was 38 in which they did invite people with 37 points. Do youse think the minimum points (38 will increase or decrease? Is it worth the risk?

It better decrease I'm only at 37, however I think it'll probably stay the same or even increase, but I applied anyways just in case, and being able to go here would mean only paying 4750 quid

This is a bit late but given the fact that our year for GCSEs returned back to normal and high grades dropped hopefully it should decrease. This is just an optimistic guess though

oh no i might be cooked then hopefully 38 points will be enough to even get an interview? Do you guys reckon interviews will be the hardest part of the process as it's where most people get rejected.

Hi, I think 38 will be borderline, from what i understand there are less than 100 spaces so most likely will be quite competitive, we have to prepare well and hope for the best.
