The Student Room is a public forum where students can connect with each other and share their university experience. A lot of people ask questions and advice from pervious students and by posting it publicly it helps other people who may have had the same questions. It's also a great way for people who are attending the same university to reach out to each other and make friends or to meet people who may be living in your accommodation or are on your course. There's also student ambassadors who are employed by the universities to answer any questions that prospective students may have about their university experience or the application process.
