Computer Science Placement Year
I'm in my second year right now and looking to do a placement year next year. What sort of questions in general do they ask in the interviews? Is there usually a technical part, like in regular software engineering jobs, or is it all general about me? Do most companies expect me to submit a portfolio and have projects? I have very good first year grades but I'm very unprepared in the other areas (no completed projects, haven't been practising data structures and algorithms etc) would this impact my applications? How different is this for big companies vs small?
