It is no easy task to write a personal statement!

It is so good to hear that you have had the opportunity to get involved in some volunteering. This is definitely something you want to showcase, especially if it is related to your chosen degree. When I give prospective students advice about how to write their personal statement I always tell them to think of it like a short story about yourself. A story about how you got to where you are now; which is applying for Paramedic Science!

One way to get this experience into your statement is not only writing about what volunteering you did but how it affected you and what skills you gained. Did your volunteering role develop your communication skills or your confidence? If so, then write that down! :smile:
