Manchester BA Economics or LSE Economic History BSc

which one is better overall? e.g. reputation, graduate prospects, costs considered
I have seen some people on here say manc is bad for econ is that true?

If you look at any ranking the LSE will be near the top and highly competitive. The grade requirements will probably also be higher so it really depends where you are with your grades and whether you want to live in London with a huge cohort of international students. I don't think that you are really comparing 'like with like' here.

The LSE

Manchester's BSc is more competitive than their BA, too
Worth noting these are two completely different courses so maybe start there. Unless you want to go into investment banking or management consulting that's going to probably make more of a difference in your overall experience, and also may or may not open or close certain doors (e.g. economic service roles in the civil service which require a degree with 50% economics content - which an economic history degree by itself probably won't meet the requirements for).
