Getting 3 A*s at alevel?

It’s literally a dream of mine to get 3 a*s in my alevels (maths cs Spanish) and prove everyone wrong, I’m currently predicted bbc/abc, but realistically these are underpredictions and with my current progress I could probably get abb in my alevels. However this is obviously not 3 a*s. The main subject causing the issues is cs (my C predicted is in this) bcz of the coursework and my teacher hates me lmao which is actually horrible but once I get it done it’ll be okay. How many hours would I need to put a day to achieve 3 a*s? Do u think it’s possible at this stage? Any tips for not getting burnt out?

anything is possible, maybe 3-4 hours a day depending on how much time you have, use your study periods, it will be essential.

make sure you have one day where you don't do anything at all, take breaks, hydrate, exercise, go for walks, GET EIGHT HOURS OF SLEEP, eat three meals a day to keep your mental health up if you are going to go all out. It's okay if you don't achieve it, the only person you have to prove yourself to is you if that makes sense, but if you really want to get those grades make sure you are doing it for yourself, at the end of the day it's only a letter so please don't work yourself up over it, work hard and do your best is all I can say.

I strong agree with you. Get 3 A star in IAL exam no impossible, my school mate all got C and U in the exam. I am very scared i will get U in all 3 of my a level. I am already burn out after getting 1 U in pure math 1. Gold bless.

It’s not too bad, def the easiest suvject but the grade boundaries are SCARY omds. Paper 1 is calm, I rlly need to work on my essay structure for paper 2 tho my essays are usually like 30/40 which is too low and speaking is usually calm too but I need to fully memorise my irp, but I actually picked a good topic so yeah I’m actually liking it. Overall it’s not awful the only things I don’t like are the photo cards cause their so boring, and tbh the summaries are annoying too but it’s not that bad. I don’t rlly like listening either cause they always try and catch u out but with improvements I will def get an A. It’s just the grade boundaries which makes it hard it’s so high I’m genuinely shocked, if they weren’t so ridiculous I’d def be able to get an a*, but it just depends on luck this time icl 😭

no because this is literally me rn ffs. Im sitting on a BDU , and my maths is U. I recommend using this tutor course called uplearn. Its a lot but i have got my way around it (im not sure if this is legal tho). You are allowed a 3 day free trial with your email. You dont even have to confirm if its your email at the start, which is how I use random peoples emails every 3 days which basically allows me to get the full access to the course for however long i want (as long as i dont run out of emails lol). Do not spread this or else it will be patched haaaha

Also, make sure you dont have something like undiagnosed adhd. It was something I has for a long time and really got in the way of my studies. Write down things youre struggling with on a piece of paper and ask yourself how bad is it? It is executive dysfunction?

Honestly, I had to take a break from my studies, I asked my parents, begged them for me to get diagnosed by a private psychiatrist who is a specialist in the field on Harley street, only because I knew my symptoms are ADHD related, not something else, and I knew the waiting time for NHS is literal years and I can't afford the time it will take, I also knew I just could not study at all like I was struggling so much. I then got diagnosed by my psychiatrist and then thanks to his specialism, I found a medication that worked for me. Btw it can be a long process but if medication wise, say you tried a stimulant medication and it has zero affect on you, like a placebo, usually it;s because its an extended release medication that takes time to release, try immediate release medication instead. Only try immediate release after trying higher doses of extended release stimulant medication, and you still have zero positive or negative side affects. I tried methylphenidate extended release, and the elvase extended release, but had no affect on my body regardless of dose. Then I went back to methylphenidate (like Ritalin) but tried immediate release only. Which worked with my body's unique chemistry and suppressed my adhd symptoms.

Private psychiatry is expensive af, but it's a huge investment for me since I saw a specialist and not some regular private psychiatrist or an nhs one who will take forever to help you.

3 meals a day is a horrible advice for productivity, if you want to chill then its good ye . If you really want it badly do some research into OMAD (one meal a day ) , all the real killers in terms of productivity use it . You loose about 70% of your focus digesting food , that's why you work so well if you wake up early and work without eating . If that's too extreme just avoid carbs as much as possible , also killer of focus . Just my 2 cents from someone who got a couple of A* 's
