Is it more stressful to internally repeat a year or externally repeat
I am currently doing an internal repeat for MPhys 2nd year at Southampton and I was wondering if it more stressful as an internal repeater than an external one

Can you afford to repeat as an external student? No tuition, no student loans, no eligibility for benefits so you'd need to get a job to pay rent and bills...it's a risky and expensive option

Don't you want to engage with your repeat your in person?
I can't see a single advantage to repeating externally personally. Everyone I know who has been in this situation has had all sorts of additional stresses and struggled to engage properly with their repeat and ended up dropping out.
