GCSES VS function skills qualifications
I'm currently a second-year college student studying level 2 maths and English functional skills at college, but I need to enquire about the value of GCSEs vs functional skills qualifications. Which qualification is most important, GCSEs or level 2 functional skills? I was told at college that level 2 practical skills qualifications are equivalent to a GCSE grade c.
I was also told that if I wanted to study GCSEs in future, I would need level 2 functional skills in English and Maths to pursue GCSEs.
