Level 2 functional skills maths

Hi , I’m currently doing level 2 maths at college however my admissions had emailed me saying they don’t accept functional skills in primary training pgse at Leeds trinity however on the website it says gcse or equivalent and level 2 is equivalent to a c grade. Do anyone know if I can do teacher training with a level 2 functional skills maths.

When it says equivalent, it's talking about qualifications from other countries who don't do GCSEs. I can confirm function skills is NOT accepted as an equivalent. You will need to sit a GCSE paper. This can be done fairly cheaply. So get revision and book a per sitting somewhere.
