Shadowing an usher

I have been offered 1-2 days shadowing an usher at a magistrates court, would it be worth it?

It depends what you want to gain at the end of it? All opportunities to gain an insight into 'another side of life' are of great value. Some experiences are down right shocking. Just don't get depressed afterwards after this insight opportunity. There are some great individuals (Ushers) doing their best but you will see how the Criminal Justice Service is failing everyone. You will see how selfish and uncaring some offenders are. Some offenders have little care for anyone else other than themselves, and you will see how they manipulate the system. You will also see how the Justice System enables this and see how the victims of crime are completely overlooked and disregarded. So yes it is worth it.
