im in sixth form, i travel 2 hours and adult tickets are almost £30 for a return, so i get the kids ticket cuz £30 a day is unreal. my ticket gets flagged up and i have to be manually let through, its getting really annoying bc i get almost interrogated and i just decided to save myself problems and get the 16-18 railcard so i got a few questions. do you get stopped at barriers or does your ticket flag up too?

I believe that ticket barriers indicate if you're using a child ticket -- that's to make it more obvious where an adult is trying to use a child ticket.
I have no idea whether they flag that the ticket was bought with a railcard.
