Is the placement hours for dual nursing and single nursing the same? I know it’s an additional year but is it the same without the additional year

I think it depends on the university and how they run their placements. A few universities run their health courses with 50% of the course spent on placement as standard, so it may be that your two field of practice are split across the 50%, and a single pathway would still have the 50%.
There are lots of things you will experience on one placement that will likely cross both fields of practice, so you are not missing out on placement hours by opting for dual nursing.

Definitely reach out to the university in question that is running the course and see what they say, I am sure they would be happy to provide some clarity over how placements work for dual nursing 🙂
