should i drop out?

i’m resisting my first year as i had health issues during my first year causing me to fall behind. i plan on getting my AS levels in maths, FM and business, then dropping out and going into full time work. My main question is, will AS levels help me in anyway? or should i just drop out now and invest more in work. i plan on working full time in a bank in September. or doing an apprenticeship in real estate. Then going on to sit my CeMap. i already have a job in financial advising that would be willing to hire me after 4 years of experience in a finance job.

so is it worth staying in college for the next few months?
Hi,
Seems like you have made decisions on your future career aspects, which is great to see.

"So is it worth staying in college for the next few months?"

In all honesty, enjoy college whilst you can !
I mean this in terms of freedom, having leisure time, socialising, learning, morning lie-ins (lololol)

Your still young, so enjoy this point where you are in life e.g College/ Student.
Take it in your stride.
Doesn't matter whether if you are resitting first year or not, it all comes down you, as an individual.
Where do you see yourself in a few years time and how to get there? e.g Financial Advisor and how you going to get there?

Working full time is a lot, so be ready for the world of work and the responsibilities that come with this.
If you haven't already, use your time wisely and think about taking driving lessons/ passing your test.

I would advise talking to your careers team at college, your parents, family and friends on your intentions of dropping out or staying in college and what you would like to do?
Its also okay if later on you decide you want to change career path and go into e.g From Finance to IT etc.

Hope all goes well.
Best Wishes

i totally agree with you. i think i will stay in college for now and i suppose there’s no harm if i choose to drop out later. perhaps i can stay and take college less seriously than i have and focus more on enjoying my time there. whilst still studying but not as much.
If i where to drop out now i would definitely just have a part time job, then find a full time job nearer September. as i want one more summer of travelling etc and not working a 9-5.
