geography nea word count

what are you word counts for the nea? mine is way too high so i want to see what other peoples are cosidering the guidance is 4,000

4000 is the most misleading guide imo. I wrote 16k roughly and I was able to achieve higher marks because of this. If you need anymore help check my videos out here https://www.youtube.com/@joshleong3230

hi 4000 is the guideline from the exam board, most people end up doing ~6000. I handed mine in with around 9000. the point of saying 4000 is to avoid putting in useless info. (also if you're struggling for word count, words in graphs and mind maps etc don't count)

I'm currently at 9,000 and nowhere near finished! However, I'm doing Edexcel, which IIRC is the only exam board that doesn't penalise for ridiculously high word counts. Check with your teacher if your word count would affect your grade - they are able to advise on this.

Do you know if there is a maximum file size the students can submit? Is around 25MB acceptable?*That’s for AQA Geography NEA (7037/C).

Do you know if there are any specific guidelines regarding the candidate’s name appearing on the document?*On the front cover and on every page. Is this allowed?
