Durham or Warwick

Hello everyone,I am currently faced with a decision between two masters of Law, one at the University of Warwick and the other at Durham University. Being Italian, I would greatly appreciate some advice on which of these institutions is more renowned and highly ranked.
My primary considerations include not only an excellent education but also being in an environment that offers a rich international experience. Could anyone provide insights into the reputation of these universities and share where I can find reliable rankings? Additionally, if anyone has experiences or recommendations regarding both universities, I would be grateful to hear about them.
Thank you in advance for your assistance

I am a Warwick graduate (not Law) and very familiar with both of these universities.

Warwick is a modern campus university on the outskirts of Coventry, a medium sized city with a racially and culturally diverse population. Durham university is much older and consists of a number of colleges located in and around a very small city of about 50,000 inhabitants; as such, its buildings dominate the city centre. One of the colleges - University College - is housed in a medieval castle. Durham attracts students from all over the world but is somewhat less diverse than Warwick.

Both universities are highly regarded for Law. Your choice should depend on your specialism and the course structure you prefer as well as the very different ambience of the two institutions. You would be advised to do a virtual tour of each university and consider the course details very carefully before making your decision - but either would make an excellent choice.

No set of rankings offer a perfect picture but the Complete University Guide for Law (2024) is as good a rough guide as any. I suspect that the consensus would be that Durham would win, in terms of its overall "prestige".
