No show at interview

I have recently received an invitation to an interview for a large scale engineering company that is tomorrow. I received it a couple of weeks ago, however some tragedy happened in my family that made me feel uneasy about wanting to continue to create the presentation for the interview and attend it. I sent them two emails detailing this, I believe these ended up in a mailbox with nobody was looking at, and then I received a phone call that I missed. Now they sent me an email saying that I’ve been rejected from the company whitch l I understand but do not know if they revived my emails. I understand that I can’t apply to the same company again, however will that get me blacklisted from other engineering companies due to this? I sent them another email today outlining the other two emails, and attempted to call them to no response? I am freaking out a little and any information will be appreciated.
