Does anyone know a good way to format the assignment? My teacher has been little help towards this, especially since this is a daunting assignment.

My format in Assignment A was
An overview : How i was going to do my practical, and what I will do
Rationale : why i chose this topic and how it will help me with my course
Literature review: analyse every source and how it will help me
hypothesis : my hypothesis and how my sources influenced it, also a null hypothesis
Aims and objectives: what i would like to learn through my practical and how i will do it
Method: any method, i chose mine from the bbc bitesize website
Justification : why i chose this method, could be due to lack of resources
Limitations : what can hold me back, might be time
Alt method: another method you wont be using
Limitations : again what can hold you back
Comparison : why did you pick one method over the other?

I got a distinction in assignment A, and im waiting back for B but for B i did.
A risk assessment ; what im using and how it could go wrong. How i will prevent things going wrong
Contingency plan : predict ahead of time things that may go wrong, how will you solve these issues. What could you change?
Other issues : any external issues? Timing issues? Equipment issues? how can they impact ur results . With all these results is your method the best solution? How effective is it?

thank you i just started research in this unit and i was so bummed on how to start but this has given me an idea
