Are there apprenticeships for health? National Apprenticeship Week!

It's National Apprenticeship Week and the theme this year is Skills for Life, and so we wanted to celebrate the apprenticeship routes into health! :h:

An apprenticeship combines practical training in a job with study, and UCAS is a great place to look to find out how apprenticeships compare to other qualifications.

At Canterbury Christ Church University, we offer Higher and Degree Apprenticeships which are alternative routes for both school leavers and those already established in their careers.
Not only will you gain a degree-level qualification, but you can work alongside your studies, earning money and gaining the essential industry skills you need to excel.

If you are thinking of an apprenticeship in health, these are the health apprenticeships we offer:
- MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Degree) Apprenticeship
- Nursing Associate (NMC 2018)
- Occupational Therapist (Integrated Degree)
- Operating Department Practitioner (Integrated Degree)
- Registered Nurse (Degree)

Please note that for some of our apprenticeships, you will already need to be employed in an NHS Trust. However, an apprenticeship is always an option you can explore if a traditional university route is not for you.
