UK undergrad to US Postgrad

How does applying from UK undergrads to JD and MBA programs in the US work? Obviously degree level and standardized scores and work experience will matter but are schools that aren't LSE or Oxbridge like UCL or Imperial considered credible by admissions officers?
In principle yes although you may need to manage expectations about where you apply. It might be a lot harder to sell a uni outside of those to e.g. Harvard law or something.

Also have you figured out how you will pay for that? Law and business programmes are obscenely expensive in the US, and there is limited funding for them even for American students - if you're not a US student there's even less.

I think here frankly the biggest barrier is the cost, not where you go to uni.
