i'm also a socio student and i do struggle to ngl! i feel like essay plans are also a bit difficult to do in sociology, because it's harder to predict those 20 and 30 markers! the only thing you can do is make sure you have at least 20-30 marks worth of content for each sub-topic in each sociology topic! hope that helps a bit! you can let me know if u have any other questions !

thank you so much for your response ! unfortunately i do feel like there's a lack of support from my sociology teachers so i'm kinda struggling on what content is relevant and how to apply it affectively. Overrall what revision techniques do you reccomend and do you think there's enough time to go over majority of the content

sorry to hear that :frown:! i use active recall techniques like flashcards and blurting to help me remember content, and then also past paper qs ofc! also, i strongly recommend having a 'retrospective' plan to organise when you are going to learn all your content! for example, for each spec point, i have 6 reviews in total: and i use spaced repitition to determine when i go over the content. i follow the 3 days, 7 days, 21 days, 30 days, 60 days structure. here is a copy of the plans that i found somewhere on the internet  but please feel free to save your own copy (press 'file' and make a copy)

paper 1 excel planner - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UmLlnKRjCASs24nHYZ7MZJcZOFJZYKwYrjV_5TgxHBU/edit?usp=sharing

paper3 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11kLxSYxfGtRgyZZ1gIoPUDK9jBeWWglyOcs2c3dPsl0/edit?usp=sharing

and then here's an example of how i use the above spaced repetition structure to help me plan what days i go over content (taken from psychology) but it's just so you have a rough idea: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1A9De7VW5KT35niW3Qvb2nVLuuj7kCNsfN4uZQDUgEbA/edit?usp=sharing

20 mark question do this four times with an introduction and conclusion
30 mark question do this six times with an introduction and conclusion

Oh yea I’d say refer to the item once in every paragraph, in 20/30 mark questions it’s ok to use the same point from the item multiple times as long as you are saying something different about it
