brewing alcohol in dorms?

Hi,
I want to start brewing mead in my university halls but I'm wondering if it's maybe not such a good idea. Does anyone have any experience?

I'm worried about the smell and anything else that can come with brewing mead. I just thought it would be a fun hobby but I'm not looking to get fined / bother my flatmates you know? I've read the orientation and papers over and nothing says I specifically CAN'T. I'm over 18 and live in the uk so I'm guessing it's fine?

More so I'm just worried about gassing out my ******* flat lmao. Good idea or bad idea? If it's not so good I'll just wait till next year when I'm in a student house.

No bro don’t do it- bare haram and that.

On a more serious note: you won’t get in trouble as long as it’s in small quantities apparently. If it does end up bothering your flatmates it may cause complications if it ends up getting reported.

YEAH thats true - I gave it more thought I'm just not gonna bother till next year. I'll brew it in a shed or something. Not like my flatmates are against free alcohol!!
