Inquiry Regarding KCL Entry Requirements

Good afternoon,

I am currently in my final year studying Economics and Politics at Cardiff University and am interested in pursuing the Banking and Finance masters program at KCL. I have reviewed the entry requirements for the program, which specify a minimum grade of 65%. My current second year grades stand at a 61, hence at the moment I do not pass the requirements.

However, I am confident in my ability to improve my grades significantly in my third year. My performance in the first semester has already demonstrated my dedication, with module grades ranging from 67 to 89. Based on this, I believe my final average mark will definitely exceed the entry requirements for KCL.

Unfortunately, I only have my second-year grade transcript available at the moment, which falls short of the required grade. I am uncertain whether I should still apply to the masters program and include these details in my personal statement, or simply not bother and spend 120 pounds for the application fee.

I would appreciate any guidance or advice you can provide on this matter.

Thank you for your assistance.
