Law and sociology

i see Warwick has a law and sociology course, its recognised as a BA and grade requirements are AAB. does that mean that after completing this course you cannot go onto do SQE or the barrister exam?

Hi @rabiiii379,
A BA is not a qualifying law degree so you would have to do a conversion of some nature afterwards to then be able to progress either onto the SQE or BPC. If you are looking for a qualifying law degree, it needs to have an LLB at the start
I hope this helps and good luck!

Ahh thank you so much

This is incorrect. Whether a degree is a qualifying law degree depends on its content, not its title. Thus for example the BA law degrees of Oxford and Cambridge are qualifying law degrees.
