Does anyone happen to know what the differences between Bands D1, D2, D3 and D4 are (if any)?

Hi there!

I've not personally lived in Band D accommodation, so you might benefit from chatting to our other ambassadors here to see what their personal experiences might have been there.

You can see the new accommodation prices via this link, which have slightly different categories compared to last year. Bands D3 and D4 will include either newer buildings, refurbished rooms, or benefits such as better views and/or location. University Court for example is the first accommodation you see as you enter campus, meaning it can be a lot closer to town centre as some other flats, and some of them have amazing views of town.
