do uni accommodations have vacuum cleaners?

do university accommodation have vacuum cleaners normally or will I have to bring a small one? I really dislike any dust or muck on my floor

It depends on the Uni accommodation service contract. Some serviced accommodation will provide cleaning in communal areas such as kitchens but not individual rooms. Others can provide a cleaning service (once a week or similar) for rooms as well as communal areas. That said even if the accommodation provider had a vacuum cleaner available for communal use - whether anyone would know how to use it???

Best advice - Get yourself a lightweight (rechargeable) cordless vac for your room and be happy you can clean away to your hearts content anytime you want to. Then you are strung out at the mercy of external factors.

If something means that much to you - proactively do what it takes to make that a priority for you ie being nice and clean and calm (not upset by dodgy equipment being missing, dirty or broken)
