Politics EPQ- Windrush Scandal

I recently started doing my EPQ, am in the early stages still collecting and evaluating research and also have settled down on a title. My school have had a few sessions now talking about how an interview for an EPQ as research can really help to develop understanding and i was wondering if anyone thinks it’s worth reaching out to a political person for their opinions on it. To specify, my title is something such as did the scandal make people in uk more accepting to immigrants. And also, any suggestions on who to reach out to? It may also be good to talk to a professor of immigration studies? Also, if anyone thinks they can think of a better title/more specific/ one that would have more research on it pleaseee reach out!!
