Hi, does anyone know what careers support is like at UEA? We were very impressed with Reading’s focus on building up your CV throughout the course and wonder if UEA is similar?

The Careers Support is really good at UEA with many employability events within a subject, sometimes weekly. In addition, there is Career Central which is the careers hub on campus in which you can get lots of advice regarding CVs, interviews.etc.

They have a UEA award in which you can do related activities to build up your CV, such as reflecting on presentation skills.

Hi there,

Career support at UEA is great! Once you become a student you'll have access to the career central portal which has plenty of jobs and internships to choose from. They can help prepare your application and guide you though the process. Another good aspect is that they keep good contact with alumni, which often leads to the recruitment of UEA students into their companies.
