PhD in Economics, without a MSc or Mres

Hi all,

Last year I completed my BSc (Hons) in Economics and I now work as an economist (won't give more specific info, don't want to dox myself). I am one of the only people on the team also working as an econometrician, using statistical software, and also lead on 2 research projects. These won't be credited with my name, and will remain within the company, but worth mentioning anyway.

Is it possible to do a PhD in economics with only my BSc? I have a mostly complete proposal idea, which I'm refining with two professors from my university, though they don't have capacity to take on any supervisees.

Is it possible to apply and be successful without the further postgraduate qualifications?
