Doitdoitdoit.

Where's your offer from?

NoNoNo.

I've decided that I'm just going to decline it...
It's from Strathclyde...
The only reason I applied to that uni is because it's close...

IMMA DO MEDICINE THOUGH maybe...

If you don't want to do it, do not firm it and have a look through extra for a back up choice, just in case you don't get the grades you want (hopefully it won't come to that though).

I've got the entry requirements I need for Scotland now, it's just if I plan on applying in England next year, I'll need 3 As in my advanced highers... I suppose if I end up with a B I can reapply to all Scottish unis...

Ah, you're a Scotsman! That's fair enough. You already have a back up choice then I suppose, and being Scottish, you don't have the increasing fees worry.

Have you thought about applying in Ireland?

Yeah, chem eng was stupidly my back-up choice however advanced higher physics has put me off ALL engineering. It's not difficult... my teacher is a ****... Everybody thinks it's ridiculous that I'm willing to pay fees to study in England rather than get it free in Scotland, but if paying fees means that I got into a medical school, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Never thought about it... Any reason why?

You'd still have to pay on Ireland though?
All my friends and my boss(a pharmacist) were like 'why would you want to reapply and pay 9k when you could just go somewhere this year and pay less?!'
I was like... I wanna do medicine, I'd still apply even of it was 20k a year.. And I'm working class
People just dont understand when you've decided That your purpose in life is to waste it training to be a doctor

The interview was actually on the 3rd :teehee: I had misunderstood it first... it's already done and dusted.
And the offer came through yesterday :ninjagirl:

But thanks for pushing me :colondollar:
