Thanks - we did know that! It just makes the decision all the more difficult, though by all accounts very few people actually manage to make the shift and the competition is almost worse than getting a med place!

Yeah, it is very difficult but in my (not expert) opinion, it would be better to do Medical Sciences now, try harder than most people do in first year (I think you have to achieve 60%?), and go for the switch.
If not, try for a post grad. A large number of people I've heard asked about post grads believe they make better Medics with a 3 year base of biomedical science!

There should be a site office somewhere, which is where you go to collect your keys. You have to show them the accom contract that you should've printed off.
